I see through different eyes, I see a bigger picture when others see grey skies. Though many can’t conceive it, I stand facing the wind.  My bravery not from fighting, but from my strength within, I am a warrior.

Cody Green had leukemia and beat the disease three times. He was cancer-free, but chemo therapy lowered his immune system and he died from a brain fungus. Before Cody’s death, he was named an honorary Marine to fulfill his dream.  A Marine sergeant stood vigil in Cody’s last moments of life. Sergeant Mark Dolfini says he has spoken with Cody’s family several times since his funeral. He says they will be friends for life.
